This plan is based solely on the 1999 mathematics curriculum and not on a publisherâs scheme. If you are following a particular scheme and wish to include the content from it in the plan, most publishers have a document with a monthly breakdown of their content as part of their online resources that you can simply include instead of the table that is provided.
This sample long term plan will save you countless hours as the content is already pre-populated, so instead of typing everything from scratch, you can simple edit it to suit.

No, the cost of a product cannot be split amongst 2 teachers at the same class level. All downloads from teachingplans.ie constitute copyrighted material that and each purchase gives an individual licence for one teacher to use the resources. Where multiple teachers in a school are at the same class level and would like to use the same resource, an individual purchase is necessary for each teacher.
Do you have a Google Docs version of this product?
No, at the moment all of the downloads are available in Microsoft Office versions only.
Can you post me printed copies of my order?
No, all products are available as digital downloads only as they are designed to be edited by you to suit your individual class and students.
Can you create bespoke plans to suit our school/ my booklist/ the schemes I am using?
Furthermore, our intention is to provide editable sample planning documents that you can easily and quickly customise for your individual class and whatever scheme you are using for different subjects. Much of the plans will remain the same regardless of whatever scheme you are using, and editing it to suit takes a fraction of the time that it would take to type everything from scratch. Editing the plans to suit is an important step for teachers to take in order to ensure they are familiar with the plansâ content as well as their suitability for their individual students.
We do provide suggested content and activities for teachers who are new to a class level or for those who would like some new ideas or who donât rely on publisherâs schemes, but this section can be edited and you can take some or none of the ideas as desired. Also many publishers now have an outline of their schemeâs content as part of their digital resources, so if you wish, you can delete the suggested content provided and include the publisherâs outline with your planning documents instead.
