This lesson is on ‘The Story of 10’ (partitioning 10). The lesson plan is laid out in a clear step-by-step and easy to follow way with plenty of detail (2 pages in total). As well as the sections show in the picture it also includes sections for assessment, integration, and differentiation at the end. As an added bonus this lesson plan comes with the resources needed (two worksheets and digit cards) for you to simply print off.
A copy of the book “Ten in the Bed” by Penny Dale is recommended for this lesson. You can buy it online, borrow it from your local library, or there are some videos of it on YouTube if you cannot get a hard copy.
