This is a full editable 24-page Aistear long-term plan for the year with ideas and suggestions for themes and stations. It took over 40 hours to complete and will save you time and stress when you are planning for play based learning in Infants. The Aistear Yearly Plan gives a theme for each week, lists 5 stations for that theme, says which subjects are covered at the station, gives a brief description of the station, and lists resources needed. You can see a sample of some of the weeks in the pictures.
Also included is a version of the plan broken down by each fortnight which includes the language to be targeted, integration with maths, and a space for the teacher to write their reflection each week.

Well worth your investment for the amount of time these plans will save you, leaving you free to put your valuable time into preparing your resources. Extremely comprehensive plans which if needed, can be rearranged so that the suggested order of themes fit in with the SESE programme you may be using or your school’s Aistear plan/policy. If the order of themes suit you, all you need to do is check the suggested resources list for that fortnight and set up your areas! Couldn’t be easier! The inclusion of the ‘language to be taught’ is very clear and these plans are up-to-date. The space on the short term plan for ‘Teacher Reflection’ is very handy for taking quick notes/observations.

However these plans are so detailed and comprehensive, they have saved me so much time and have taken the stress out of planning for Aistear.
