Special Education Teacher (SET) Calendar for the Year

A month by month outline from September – June of the main things that the SET team in an Irish primary school need to do. There is also a blank space for each day in the month were you can record any events specific to your school. This is a fully editable Microsoft Word document that you can edit as you see fit for your school. It also includes a link to open it in Google Docs. The document includes hyperlinks to where you can access important documents and resources that are referenced in it.
I created this first created a calendar like this when I was the SENCO in a large urban primary school that had a high level of SEN and a large SET team. It allows effective planning for the year ahead so that every member of the special educational needs teacher team knows what they need to do and when. I hope that other SET teachers, SENCOs and primary school principals find it helpful too! It is designed to be edited to suit individual schools and their own SEN/ SET policy.
