The plans contain all sections suggested by the NCCA in their planning framework including aims, learning outcomes for each strand, methodologies, differentiation, assessment, as well as linkage and integration.. These sections remain the same in all 3 versions of the plan: Junior Infants, Senior Infants, Multi-Class Infants.
In addition to the above sections, there is a detailed content section for each class level which gives suggested poems, rhymes, picture books, phonics etc. that can be covered each month. These plans are not based on a particular scheme, but contain suggestions for content that I have found work well with infants.
The suggested content is different for JI and SI, and a Multi-Class Infants can use it as a year 1/ year 2 option. If you are following a particular scheme and wish to include that, most publishers have a yearly outline of the content to cover each month as part of their digital resources and if you prefer, you can simply copy and paste this content instead of my suggestions.
The plans are for a whole year, however I have a separate table for Term 1, Term 2 and Term 3, so even if you are doing your long-term plans by term you can just keep the section you need.
My Infants PLC Gaeilge Plans can be found here. A fortnightly planning template for the Primary Language Curriculum can be found here.
A huge amount of time and effort was put into these plans and I am confident you will be happy with your purchase. I would really appreciate if you could leave a positive review to let others know this is a quality plan. This set of plans are clear, very detailed and clearly has taken hours and hours of preparation. The fact that the plans are editable allows great ease to change to each teachers individual needs/ schemes. The plans follow the latest PLC. The resources used in plans are also linked, so you can find/buy the resources needed. I look forward to using them with my class in September.
