EAL Student Support Plan A2 (Waystage Level)

This A2 EAL Long-Term Recorded Preparation Pack provides a ready-to-personalise Student Support Plan and Review Template for pupils working at A2 (Waystage) level in English.

Designed for EAL and special education teachers in Irish primary schools, the template includes A2-specific content throughout, making it particularly suitable for pupils with some proficiency in English. Editing the template to suit your A2 individual pupil’s assessed abilities, priority language-learning needs and classroom context, takes a fraction of the time than to create such a plan from scratch!

The editable template is provided in Microsoft Word and Google Docs formats. To save considerable teacher time, the template sections with priority needs, SMART targets, approaches and resources have been pre-populated so that teachers can select content that is relevant to their individual pupils rather than generating everything from scratch.

Reading and writing targets are included for pupils for whom they are appropriate. For pupils in infant classes, these should be selected only where suitable for the pupil’s age, developmental stage, prior literacy and classroom expectations.

Important Note: This resource is specifically intended for pupils with an A2 language-proficiency profile. Teachers supporting pupils working at different levels across listening, speaking, reading and writing should choose the complete A1–B1 EAL Student Support Plan Pack instead.

How and when will I receive my order?

Do you offer returns?

Can I purchase plans with another teacher in my school who is also an EAL teacher?/ Can we split the cost if we are both using them?

No, the cost of a product cannot be split amongst 2 or more teachers. All downloads from teachingplans.ie constitute copyrighted material that and each purchase gives an individual licence for one teacher to use the resources. Where multiple teachers in a school would like to use the same resource, an individual purchase is necessary for each teacher.

Do you have a Google Docs version of this product?

Yes, the download includes a link to make a copy of the editable template in Google Docs.

Can you post me printed copies of my order?

No, all products are available as digital downloads only as they are designed to be edited by you to suit your individual students.
