Short Term Recorded Preparation Template

This free template has been created to support Irish primary teachers with their short term recorded preparation. It includes the suggested headings from the 2026 Preparation for Learning, Teaching and Assessment Updated Guidance for all Primary and Special Schools.

It is provided as a simple editable Word document format so that you can adapt it for your own class level, curriculum area or subject and school context.

This free version includes the basic template only. It does not include completed examples, detailed explanations, alternative layouts or Google Docs versions.
